How we use your information

My Tenancy Repairs is a trading name of X Fifteen Ltd (company number 16122005), 14 Mallard Way, Derby DE24 8GX. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (reference ZC060311) and are the data controller for the information you give us.

What we collect

Your name, contact details and address; details of your tenancy, rent and landlord; the problems in your home and how you reported them; photos, videos and documents you upload; your ID and proof of address; and, if you choose to tell us, how the problems have affected your health. We also record when and how you gave your consent, including the time, your internet connection and device, and the advert or page you came from.

Why we use it

To check whether you could have a housing disrepair claim, prepare it, and refer it to a partner solicitor with your permission. We rely on your consent, and on taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement with you. Health details are only used with your explicit consent, to support your claim.

Who we share it with

The partner solicitor reviewing your claim, and the service providers who host our systems and send our texts and emails. We never sell your information.

How long we keep it

Your permission for us to share your details with a solicitor lasts 90 days unless your claim goes ahead. We keep claim records for as long as we need them for your claim and our legal and regulatory obligations, then delete them.

Cookies

If you say yes on our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to see how people use our site, and the Meta pixel to see which of our Facebook and Instagram adverts led people to start or send a claim. If you say no, neither is loaded. Your claim login uses one essential cookie to keep you signed in.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time by messaging us from your claim page. If you're unhappy with how we use your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
